CMC takes over BRIGHTE, re-launching it as SELECT

The California Market Center (CMC) will take over as show producer for BRIGHTE, re-launching the Show under the new name SELECT.

SELECT will continue to be located in the CMC's Fashion Theater and maintain the same aesthetic and show set-up as BRIGHTE.SELECT will take place Monday-Thursday, January 17-20, 2011 in conjunction with Los Angeles Fashion Market (LA Fashion Market) and continue to feature a juried selection of up-market contemporary brands for the West Coast marketplace.

“SELECT will be just like BRIGHTE, but with a new name and new show producers,” said Joanne Lee, Senior VP of the CMC. “We will offer the same quality booth setups, rates and exhibitor jurying process as well.”

SELECT will continue to host many of the same exhibitors as BRIGHTE. Confirmed exhibitors for the January 2011 Show include Azaara (semi-precious jewelry), Boutique 9 (contemporary footwear), Casting, Gillian Julius (handcrafted jewelry), Hyde, Inge Chirstopher/ Whiting & Davis (special occasion handbags), Jane Mohr Designs (art inspired apparel), Marcia Moran (Brazilian jewelry), Minnie Rose (luxury knitwear), Mystique (embellished sandals), Royal Plush (contemporary loungewear), Streets Ahead (leather accessories) and many more.

Past exhibitors included A.B.S. By Allen Schwartz(contemporary sportswear and dresses), Donald J Pliner (contemporary shoes and accessories), Linea Pelle Collection (designer belts), Linda Loudermilk (sustainable apparel), Michelle Monroe (designer handbags), Rolland Berry (graphic casual wear), Sam Edelman(trend driven contemporary shoes) and many more.

As with BRIGHTE, SELECT will not be branded with the CMC's other tradeshows. It will have its own Show image and dedicated marketing campaign. Buyer registration for SELECT will also take place on it's own in a separate location from LA Fashion Market registration.

SELECT Tradeshow will take place five times per year in conjunction with LA Fashion Market, commencing Monday – Thursday, January 17-20, 2011. Show hours will be 9:00am – 5:00pm on Monday – Wednesday and 9:00am-4:00pm on Thursday.
