Watch out world. There's a new fierce fashionista in town and her name is Yanni J. Up-and-coming wardrobe and fashion stylist Yannique Joseph (Yanni J.) will premiere her new website, YanniJ.com, and unleash her brand unto the world on Tuesday, January 18.

The young fashionista has been on the rise since 2007 patiently building her name and professional brand, and is now ready to officially make her own imprint on the fashion world as a stylist. She will celebrate her official premiere at the Meat Packing Districts best kept secret, Griffin, in New York City. There will be a private open bar press and V.I.P hour from 8:30 pm. - 9:30 pm. for special invited guests and media.

After graduating, she was hired as a Merchandise Coordinator with Mavi Jeans, but was unfortunately laid off 2 years later.

"After I was laid off I had a lot of time to reflect and figure out exactly what it was I wanted to do in fashion because I knew the previous jobs were definitely not it. I thought about what came to me naturally, what I enjoyed doing since a child, and that turned out to be putting looks together. I never knew how to draw, or sing, so creating looks was my form of art so a month or two after being laid off I put some looks together, got some friends to model, and hired a photographer to jump-start my portfolio.”

While working on laying the foundation down for her own empire, in December 2009, she was hired as a public relations intern for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week designer Carlos Campos and was the right hand to the PR Director, Gabriel Rivera-Barraza, CEO and founder of fashion consulting and PR firm GRB Communications, which has been instrumental in the launch of designers such as Christian Cota and Alvin Valley.

In February 2010, Yanni J. landed her first client, and was brought on-board to represent recording artist Eric Sosa who has been featured in publications such as Essence.com, MTV.com and Complex.com. She also had the opportunity to assist stylist Shay Baker, who has worked on projects as well as editorials for publications such as Smooth, Surface, MAR, Total Spec, FutureClaw, Venuszine, Rolling Stone, Swoon and America, and also serves as the In House Stylist for brand Archives New York.

Currently, Yanni J. is a freelance wardrobe stylist and Brand Leader for Cole Haan at Bloomingdale's in New York City.

Many people have style. Some might even classify themselves as stylists. But few possess the critical eye and professional experience as business woman and emerging stylist Yannique Joseph Queens, New York born and raised, and the daughter of a shoe showroom sales manager, fashion is in Yanni J.'s blood. She graduated from Hofstra University in 2007 with a B.B.A. in Business Entrepreneurship and during her last semester of college was the assistant manager of accessories store, Laila Rowe, while also interning with luxury Italian coat company, Cinzia Rocca, at their New York Cityshowroom.
