2006 L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) will be take place during February 26 to March 4, 2006.

During the Festival week, 2006 LMFF will once again present an extensive, high quality program of fashion, business and social events, and all the glamour and excitement for which the Festival is famous.

The 2006 L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival will distinguish its 10 year milestone with globally unique events that celebrate the breadth and depth of fashion.

LMFF is dedicated to creating the most inspiring, innovative and spectacular annual fashion event in Australia. LMFF promotes Melbourne as a centre of fashion and style, stimulates ideas, and highlights trends in design, innovation, business and the arts as they relate to fashion and all things fashionable. LMFF's unique offering makes it the leading consumer and retail fashion event in the world.

In 2006 Waterfront City in Victoria Harbour at Melbourne Docklands, will be transformed into fashion central, when this amazing space becomes the principal venue for the Festival's major runway shows and events with an emphasis on celebrating and promoting the exceptional and innovative fashion that is available in Australia.

Continuing a commitment to providing consumer access to the Runway events, LMFF has developed an exciting theatre-based strategy to inspire, excite and entertain audiences. L'Oréal Paris Runway will be staged over five nights and will include seven high quality shows highlighting the fashion collections from approximately 40 leading Australian designers.
