National Winter Fashion Fair at Serra Park in Jan 2006

Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT) informed that National Winter Fashion Fair will be held January 24 – 27, 2006, in the Gaucho Mountains.

The professional apparel industry event shall gather nearly 600 clothing and general accessory exhibitors who are getting ready to show their collections with the Autumn/Winter 2005 Fashion launches.

Held annually at the Serra Park – an exhibition and event center especially built in a 25 thousand square meter covered area at the entrance to the city of (the largest tourist center in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, with 25 thousand inhabitants and 110 kms from Porto Alegre) – this fair, like all others organized by EXPOVEST, has a main characteristic: aggregate business and tourism, a strong tendency in the international market.

Besides offering diversified hotel capacity, excellent gastronomy and leisure in the region, it also has the qualified infrastructure of a pavilion built on the top of the Gaucho Mountains, with standardized stands completely set up by the organizers.

For such, EXPOVEST, the company promoting the event, and which maintains significant partnerships with the Hotel Unions, Gramado City Hall and Serrra Park, will this time be offering registered storeowners about 9000 days at the best hotels in the area, with the objective of providing all with the best business opportunities.

Renowned as being the largest apparel industry fair in the country, this 10th edition of the FENIN will consolidate the growth of the fair, which in January 2005 broke the record in public and demonstrated a new perspective of business: adding one more day to better attend to exhibiter's needs, and being more segmented to favor buyer circulation.
