Bashe Carter is the fresh new face to the NY Fashion world. This 6 foot tall chocolate beauty has modeled for the likes of known-name designers such as, BCBG's Max Azria and Gucci just to name a few and made her official runway debut at New York City's 2011 February Fashion Week runway scene.
“Walking the runway for Fashion Week has become a dream come true,” states Bashe Carter. “The energy that surrounds me backstage and the feeling of walking down the runway is unexplainable. When I see the bright lights and all those eyes watching me I definitely know I'm in the right place because I absolutely love it.”
Bashe Carter can be seen in the pages of Fashion Mannuscript Magazine strutting the runway for Fashion Week Fashion Show, EMERGE! Here she walked in Dawn Joi for esteemed celebrity invite audiences, such as Dwight Eubanks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Suede of Project Runway.
Bashe has modeled for the likes of designers such as BCBG's Max Azria, Gucci, Guess, GAP, H&M, and YSL. This AMTC convention winner for best runway and photography has also worked on smaller but just as important projects, such as the Pre- Valentine's Day Fund-Raiser for Performing Arts, hosted by Deborah Poldore-Holder, a youth activist and motivational speaker.
With her versatility, Bashe Carter is featured on the soon to be released Dip Set's new music video “Get Busy,” directed by Janelle Abraham. Dip Set, also known as The Diplomats, are a Harlem based Hip Hop group that includes known-name members Cam'ron, Jim Jones, and Juelz Santana.
