WestPoint Home ropes KOL's Princess Natasha for full line

Nation's premier home fashions maker and marketer WestPoint Home Inc announced today that the Company has signed a license to produce a full line of bedding and bath home fashions featuring KOL (AOL's service for kids) online cartoon adventure heroine Princess Natasha.

The increasingly popular Princess Natasha is an original feature of KOL, the first service of America OnLine designed exclusively for kids. With exclusive content from industry-leading kids' brands and original programming, the KOL service is fully integrated with AOL's award-winning Parental Controls to offer children a safer, more secure online environment. In addition to the KOL webisodes, Princess Natasha will also be a regular show on television's Cartoon Network.

"The Princess Natasha series is attracting a significant following and offers WestPoint Home a new opportunity to speak to market both online and on television," said CEO Joseph Pennacchio. "This license offers significant new marketing possibilities for us."

In bedding, the Princess Natasha line will include sheets and pillowcases, decorative pillows, comforters, blankets, bedspreads, throws and accessories. The bath collection will feature towels and towel sets, bath sheets, shower curtain and hooks and bath accessories such as tumbler, soap dish, wastebasket, lotion pump, wall border, and bath rug. The new line will debut at market next spring, with an anticipated shipping date of fall 2006.

In addition to bed and bath home fashions, the Princess Natasha character will be featured in lines of apparel and toys through licenses to manufacturers in those areas.
