Six finalists for ANDAM Fashion Award

After reviewing the 45 applications this year, the 22 members of the 2011 judges panel have selected the following six finalists :

Adam Kimmel, Anthony Vaccarello, Commuun, Jeremy Laing, Palmer//Harding, Yiqing Yin

The judges will meet again on June 28 to select the winner of the 2011 ANDAM Fashion Award.

At that meeting, the six finalists will be given the opportunity to present their project to the national commission.

After deliberation, the winner will be chosen by simple majority vote by the following members of the jury:

Thanks to the generous support of its eight private partners, the ANDAM Fashion Award will be able to grant this year's winner a total of €200,000.

In addition to the ANDAM fellowship, the 2011 winner will also receive:

• An in-kind donation from Swarovski of €10,000 worth of crystals to be used in the creation of the winner's Spring-Summer 2012 collection;
• Mentorship for two consecutive seasons by Ralph Toledano, who will advise the winner in his or her creative, corporate and commercial development;
• From Galeries Lafayette, the use of the department store's “La Suite” space for the installation of a showroom.

The awards ceremony will be held on June 29 starting at 7:00 pm in the reception rooms of the Ministry of Culture in Paris.
