Pure London backs up Prince's Trust fashion designer

Pure London, London’s largest festival of fashion, is championing a young entrepreneur who is supported by The Prince’s Trust. The show is offering the extraordinary millinery talent, Elise Gustilo, a free showcase in the Accessories Concept area of the expo. The leading fashion trade show will be held from July 22 to 24, 2018, at London Olympia.

Engaged in crafts from a young age, Elise developed her skills in traditional millinery with the legendary Rose Cory, Royal Warrant Holder to the late Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Elise approached The Prince’s Trust wanting to turn her passion into a business and took part in their Enterprise programme, which supports young entrepreneurs turn their business ideas into a reality through practical support and mentoring.

Gloria Sandrucci, head of sales at Pure London said, “One of the main aims of Pure London is to collaborate with charities and organisations such as The Prince’s Trust to discover, nurture and support exciting new design talent. We are so happy to welcome Elise to the show, she has an incredible story and is an exceptional talent.”

Over the past five years, Pure London organiser Ascential, has supported The Prince’s Trust as their official charity partner, raising over £500,000. Launched last season, the Accessories Concept continues to spotlight young and emerging talent. This dynamic area will help catapult the careers of designers while offering buyers a diversified and exclusive range of footwear and accessories.

Pure London will offer visitors a festival of fashion – bringing together a strongly edited collection of over 700 global brands, including some of the best emerging designers showcasing their latest collections in the UK for the first time. Exclusive SS19 future trend insights will be delivered by WGSN and catwalk shows, now including childrenswear, will bring the season’s key looks to life. For three days visitors will be immersed into the world of fashion with a host of exciting guest speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities. (GK)
