Scottish fashion designer Judith R Clark has created a one-off gown using components of Ford Focus, as part of Ford's plans to launch a new model of its best-selling car next year.

The outfit has a main frock, a matching biker-jacket and a necklace.

The main frock is Edwardian style and is made from tweed, leather, lace and silk chiffon. It has the car's tail lights swinging from the hips.

The back of the dress has the engine comprising of small components that are stitched together into a small crinoline type bustle.

The biker-jacket is made using seat covers and it has the car's speedometer on the back which moves round, enabling the wearer to choose the speed to go at.

The necklace features various cogs, buttons, dials and springs.

The designer dyed layers of silk chiffon to resemble the colour of diesel, which gives the fabric a feel of the flow of fuel.

The new outfit gives an encapsulating contrast of feminine soft layers with that of car mechanics.
