Spanish activewear brand Ternua has updated its Climbive Series for Spring Summer 2022 using hemp as the primary textile to provide strength, durability and transparency. The collection meant for climbers is designed with the help of the world’s leading climbers using high-performance fabrics. It features shirts, sweatshirts, bermudas, shorts and trousers.

Hemp material is soft to touch and provides protection from UV rays. The company has combined the fibre with organic cotton in some garments and recycled polyester in others, it said in a media release.

The Climbive Series is complemented by Ternua’s On Rope backpack, which is comfortable and lightweight and has a double central opening with a circular zipper. Made of 100 per cent recycled textiles, it boasts PFC-free water repellent treatment along with inside pockets and front gear straps among other things.
