Stylecracker, a personalised styling platform, has received $1 million from four high net individuals in the first round of fund raising, as per media reports.

The brain child of founders Dhimaan Shah and Archana Walavakar, StyleCraker, plans to use the amount on venturing into international markets and for technology enlargement.

The firm uses a team of stylists to provide customised styling suggestions based on intelligent user data through live chats. The style tips are given to the users based on parameters like personal style preference, budget, and body type.

This unique start-up claims to have a userbase of 1,00,000 registrations since 2013 and plans to reach as many as 2 million users in the next one year.

Users of StyleCracker can read reviews of more than thousand brands and provide ratings based on their experiences. A simple click on the new 'Buy Now' option provides the ease of shopping their favourite and recommended fashion products immediately.

StyleCracker aims to achieve a gross merchandise value (GMV) of more $5 million by March 2016. (HO)
