View Premium Selection showcases over 300 collections

International fabric trade fair View Premium Selection, which was held last week saw over 300 collections, some of which were already very far developed.

“Buyers and designers from the women's and men's segment as well as from denim and sportswear were impressed by the collections,” Munich Fabric Start, the organiser said.

According to the organiser, creative teams of all German ready-to-wear manufacturers as well as famous brands and designers visited the exhibition.

While representatives of labels like Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Akris, Daks, Norse Project, etc, attended from neighbouring countries.

“Buyers capitalise on the wide ranges and researched information on the initial material and colour trends, so as to already crystallise the core statement of their collections at the beginning of the season,” the organiser added.

Products which generated immense interest were materials with raised surfaces as super-soft wool types and sophisticated jerseys with printed or multi-coloured effects and with a heavier feel for winter.

In addition, interest was seen for functional and technical fabrics, while the innovative themes for winter included, 3D technologies for texture and print. (AR)
