A broad range of industries can also now benefit from IFG’s new yield performance service. This provides recommendations on nonwoven line settings to help manufacturers get the maximum output with minimum waste.
Another initiative to improve efficiencies is IFG’s new price hedging service. This will help customers to achieve stability with volatile polymer pricing being a significant challenge across the fibre industry, the company said in a press release.
Finally, IFG is putting sustainability at its core with an open and closed loop recycling service. This is available throughout the group’s wide range of markets. Customers can now send their post-manufacturing waste back to IFG to liaise with their recycling and regranulation partners. With a focus on mechanical and chemical recycling, the service will reduce both IFG’s and its customers’ carbon footprint. Likewise, it will decrease reliance on raw materials, following circular economy principles.
“Our brand has always been forward-thinking and continues to invest in the best methods for sustainable production. We can’t wait to launch these new initiatives and see our customers benefit from the same efficiencies,” Willem De Muynck, innovation manager at IFG, said.
