Maidenform starts charitable foundation to support women

The Foundation is committed to annually funding a series of programs focusing on initiatives that support and empower women, just as the company itself caters to women's needs. The Maidenform Charitable Foundation will raise funds and support for various organizations and causes, including ones that are dedicated to breast and colon cancer.

"Maidenform has been devoted to serving women for over 91 years now. It is only natural for a company completely committed to taking care of women's needs to take the next step and create a foundation that will continue to do so," said Maurice Reznik CEO of Maidenform.

The Foundation begins its philanthropic endeavors in support of breast cancer causes on July 20th 2013 as the Official Bra Sponsor with the first ever Moonwalk Marathon in New York City supporting the globally recognized charity, Walk The Walk. Each of the participants will decorate a Maidenform bra to wear during the full or half marathon.
