Knitwear growth remained subdued as many buyers continued to prioritise basic, staple styles with lower unit prices. Higher demand for value-added woven jackets, trousers, and outerwear supported the improvement in this segment.

Home textile exports (Chapter **, excluding ******) grew by *.** per cent to $***.** million, compared to $***.** million in the same period of the previous fiscal. This improvement was driven by stable orders from the US and European markets, where home renovation and lifestyle segments are gradually recovering. Collectively, exports of woven and knitted apparel, clothing accessories, and home textiles accounted for **.** per cent of Bangladesh’s total exports, which stood at $**.*** billion during the period, underscoring the continued dominance of the RMG sector in the national export basket.
