Asian ethylene prices improve last week

In Korea, average prices soared US$ 35/ton and settled at US$ 1025/ton in the last week, registering a hike of 3.54 per cent as compared to the previous week.

In Japan, average prices improved by US$ 35/ton and secured at US$ 1020/ton in the last week, an advancement of 3.55 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices inched higher by US$ 35/ton to US$ 1085/ton in the last week over the previous week, a climb of 3.33 per cent.

In SE Asia, average prices escalated by US$ 30/ton and assessed at US$ 980/ton in the last week, after an increase of 3.16 per cent as compared to the previous week.
