Gama Recycle goes even greener with Oerlikon Neumag

One of the global recycling pioneers Gama Recycle, has spent the last two decades spinning other people’s waste material into a new kind of gold regenerated yarns and fibres. As recycled fibres have huge market potential end-users are looking for environmentally friendly products. This is why Gama Recycle has prefered to use Oerlikon Neumag fibre line.

Gama Recycle have been in business since 1997 and gained a reputation for recycling textiles, as well as some plastics, so five years ago. Gama, recycles pre-consumer cutting or industrial waste as well as postconsumer garments, PET bottles, PET trays, and other PET-based packaging materials or consumer products. It also has several patents for recycling previously used garments into recycled cotton and polyester fibres.

Working with Oerlikon Neumag, Game Recycles will work up to a total of 300 tons of PET flake capacity per day, which will allow it on a daily basis to make 200 tons of recycled polyester fibres and 100 tons of PET chips for filament yarn and bottle-to- bottle (food-grade) applications.
