Aramark uniform services bags Performance Excellence Award

Aramark, received recognition for Performance Excellence by American Honda Motor Company, Inc., for outstanding uniform services provided at five automotive plants in Ohio and Indiana, it was announced.
The 2014 Honda Indirect Products and Services Maintenance, Repair and Operational (MRO) Supplier awards were recently presented at a ceremony during Honda's annual MRO conference in Columbus, Ohio. The Performance Excellence award specifically distinguished providers for exceeding performance standards such as quality, cost and delivery targets, and service expectations.

Aramark is recognized for its efforts in supporting the opening of a new Honda location last year. After the opening, Honda needed more than 800 new uniforms designed and delivered in a two month time period. The Aramark team in Columbus worked closely with local Honda managers and human resources teams to ensure a smooth production process. Not only did Aramark meet all deadlines, it also maintained existing inventory levels and ensured on-time delivery of the more than 79,000 uniform garments it provides to Honda employees each week.
The 25 winners of the Honda Indirect Products and Services (MRO) Supplier awards were nominated by Honda's MRO purchasing department from a pool of more than 5,000 and honored in one of four categories, including Performance Excellence.
