Supplier of logistics software, automated packing solutions and intelligent parcel lockers, ProShip said Mason Companies, a US retailer of apparel and footwear has invested in its CVP-500 automated packing solution. The CVP-500 will optimise all steps of package fulfillment for Mason Companies and will facilitate its ongoing ecommerce growth.

According to ProShip, the CVP-500 builds, fills, folds and labels each order in one seamless process and creates a custom fit package every seven seconds.

“By creating a custom-fit parcel, the CVP-500 uses 20 per cent less corrugated paper and eliminates unnecessary void fill,” the company said. “This cost-effective automated packing solution makes fulfillment faster, more reliable and more efficient than ever before.”

This is the second CVP-500 automated packing solution sold by ProShip since the system was launched in the United States in February 2016. (AR)
