Copenhagen Fashion Week AW21 line up announced

December 04, 2020 - Denmark

Copenhagen Fashion Week has announced the brand line up for AW21 edition from February 2-5, 2021. Presenting new and innovative voices, like the ten finalists of Designers' Nest to industry leaders such as Henrik Vibskov, Stine Goya and Ganni, the organisers see a return to schedule of selection of brands including Rotate, House of Dagmar and Wood Wood.
The representation of Nordic fashion figureheads interspersed with a strong international presence from the likes of Rixo presents a positive statement on the value of Copenhagen Fashion Week as curating a united Nordic and international community of leading fashion voices.
Dedicated to supporting emerging talent, Copenhagen Fashion Week is excited to announce its new talent slot that will be committed to showcasing an emerging visionary designer as chosen by the show committee jury each season. For AW21 the slot has been awarded to Louise Lyngh Bjerregaard, whose rising reputation as a key visionary on the creative landscape of Copenhagen has seen her brand look to redefine knitwear and textiles.
Yu Masui captured his experience of Copenhagen Fashion Week SS21 for Spur magazine. Delving into the impacts of Covid-19, Yu discusses the new normal and hybrid celebrations of creativity through a visual diary that spans the exciting talent on schedule, from Helmstedt to Mark Kenly Domino Tan.
The organisers have also collaborated with SKT Petri. As part of Copenhagen Fashion Week's dedication to sustainability, they are launching a new series "My Sustain" highlighting the varied of ways our designers on schedule are implementing positive changes in their business.
