Brand Matter inks deal with Ivory for Caribbean Joe brand

Brand Matter LLC, owner of the Caribbean Joe brand, announced that it has entered into an exclusive long term licensing agreement with Ivory International Inc (Ivory) for Caribbean Joe branded women’s and kid’s sportswear, including knits, wovens, sweaters, casual bottoms and outerwear.

The new wholly owned division of Ivory will be operated under the name Caribbean Joe Apparel Company. Ivory will hire the core design, merchandising, and sales team from the former licensee and will begin immediately to work with the retailers on all current and future business. They will focus on Caribbean Joe’s present retail distribution of Department and Specialty Stores.

They understand the brand and are already working with the go forward team to expeditiously transition the current business with retailer partners.”

Andrea Scoli will continue as President of the new Ivory division.

The wholly owned division will be based out of New York City and Miami. Marketing Management Group (MMG) helped facilitate this transaction.
