Dunning – maker of classic, premium-quality men’s sportswear – announces that staff player John Rollins won the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open this past weekend while competing in the brand’s complete playing system at Montreux Golf and Country Club.
Rollins’ distinctive prep attire included Dunning’s Interface Stretch Highbury Polo, Stretch Performance Pant and Tour Classic leather belt. This combination ensured he looked great while remaining cool and comfortable en route to this third career PGA Tour victory.
“John continues to solidify his position as one of the most consistent players on Tour,” says company Founder Ralph Dunning. “He’s in the best shape of his career and appears primed to close out the season in strong form.”
The 34-year-old native of Richmond, VA, went into the weekend with a sizable lead thanks to his course-record 62 in the second round. Finishing the tournament with 17-under 271 total, Rollins advances to 20th in the FedExCup standings.
“We're out here to win, out here to play the best we can and finish as high as we can,” says Rollins. “We’ve got a big week next week at the PGA. You never know what will happen. Hopefully I can continue the good play there and have a chance come Sunday afternoon on the back nine to hoist another trophy.”
Showcasing proprietary technical fabrics as well as rich cottons, classic tailoring, traditional colors and a consistently elegant hand, Dunning is also worn in competition by many of the world’s best golfers, including Kyle Stanley, John Senden and 2007 Masters champion Zach Johnson.
The brand’s performance pieces include game-enhancing characteristics such as increased airflow, unmatched breathability, moisture wicking, odor resistance and UV protection. Engineered into the textile, these features are guaranteed not to wear- or wash-out for the life of the garment.
