September 18, 2009 - Pakistan
Initiation of anti-dumping proceedings in to imports of Hydrogen Peroxide, on allegations made by the domestic producers of the chemical, has hackled to no end, the traders from the chemicals and dyes industry.
The traders are alleging that this step has been taken to benefit a few, who will in a matter of days jack up the prices of the chemical, which in turn will increase the cost of production for the end user.
Recently, the National Tariff Commission had issued a notice of initiation of anti-dumping investigation against alleged dumping of Hydrogen Peroxide into Pakistan originating from Belgium, China, Indonesia and other countries.
