India's manmade yarn faces payment crunch, prices see mixed trend

The Ludhiana yarn market saw selective gains over the past few days, with ** PC combed yarn rising by &#****;*–* per kg amid seasonal demand. ** count polyester spun yarn also increased by &#****;* per kg following a rise in polyester fibre and its key raw materials. A Ludhiana-based trader told Fibre*Fashion, “PC yarn demand is comparatively higher as PC garment demand picks up during the summer season. However, payment constraints are increasing due to the financial year closing in March.”
