Core CPI, excluding food and energy prices, increased by 1.8 per cent YoY in the month.
CPI went up by 1 percent month on month (MoM) in February.
In the first two months of the year, the CPI rose by 0.8 per cent YoY.
The country’s producer price index, which measures costs for goods at the factory gate, went down by 0.9 per cent YoY last month, with the decline narrowing continuously, NBS noted.
The CPI rise indicates recovering domestic consumption and a stabilising economy, state-controlled media outlets reported.
