The consumer confidence index in Turkiye increased to 85.9 in March 2025, up from 82.1 in February, marking a 4.6 per cent rise. The index is based on the Consumer Tendency Survey conducted jointly by the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye.

The strongest improvement was observed in the financial situation of households at present, which rose by 8.2 per cent to 70.9 in March from 65.6 in February. The general economic situation expectation over the next 12 months also saw a notable increase, rising by 6.7 per cent to 84.6.

The financial situation expectation of households over the next 12 months increased by 2.0 per cent, reaching 84.7. The assessment on spending money on durable goods over the next 12 months rose by 2.8 per cent to 103.2.
