True Fit & Aetrex make online footwear recommendation tool

True Fit and Aetrex, a leader in comfort shoes, orthotics, and wellness products, have joined hands to offer an omni-channel footwear recommendation tool. As a global market leader in foot scanning technology, orthotics, and comfort and wellness footwear, True Fit’s partnership with Aetrex powers size, style, and fit recommendations, instantly.

The partnership merges True Fit’s Fashion Genome with the Aetrex Albert 3D foot scanner, Fit HQ AI solution and Albert mobile applications to create an interactive, personalised experience for each individual shopper.

The combination of foot scanner technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning technologies, and data ensures that each consumer will receive a uniquely personal recommendation for their foot type and style and fit preferences, according to True Fit.

“The programme drives conversion by helping to find the right fit the first time. Retailers are now better informed to offer customers accurate footwear recommendations based on their foot type, preferences, and the inventory available in stores and online,” Larry Schwatz, CEO, Aetrex said.

Retailers with access to this technology can train their associates as fit experts and personal shoppers as these technologies power instant, more accurate details on a particular shoe’s intended fit and size in relation to the consumer’s preferences. Now, shoppers of all ages can shop with increased confidence in finding their best-fitting footwear, instantly.

Aetrex recently introduced their mobile foot-scanning app, Albie, specifically built for kids. The 3D avatar, Albie, is currently featured in two DSW locations, with the goal to make the size and fit experience more engaging for kids.
