UK's Waitrose & Partners to export to Jordan

British supermarket chain Waitrose & Partners recently signed an agreement with Cozmo, a chain of five supermarkets in Amman. Cozmo, which opened its first store in 2003, will now stock essential Waitrose and Waitrose Duchy Organic brands and the latter’s free-from range. The products will include dried fruits, bottled sauces, mustards, biscuits and coffee.
“At Cozmo, our customers know when they walk through the doors that they will find the best selection of goods and produce available. We are thrilled to be partnering with Waitrose & Partners, who are renowned for their commitment to providing quality products, to bring the citizens of Jordan this incredible range of top-grade European foods and flavours,” Cozmo group chief xecutive officer Imad Bukhari said in a press release.
Cozmo is a leading supermarket in Amman offering a variety of local and imported brands, while Waitrose & Partners has 338 shops in England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands.
