Ulrich Hambrecht, director, RACL, in his opening address presented an overview of the Rudolf Group and highlighted its presence in various stages of the textile value chain. He also briefed the audience about the Globally One Product (G1P) concept that will ensure all customers across the world have consistency in quality, thereby meeting global standards.
Dr GVG Rao, managing director, RACL, in his speech, gave an insight on Atul Group's businesses and also the purpose of this unique joint venture with the Rudolf Group forming RACL. Further he emphasised on the key focus areas for RACL which majorly include digital printing products, resins, CBR packages and PFC free water repellents etc.
Shekhar Singh, business head, RACL, spoke about sustainable developments in knit processing and highlighted key products that meet the sustainability criteria. He emphasised that Rudolf not only established resource saving processes but also has pioneered in developing products using renewable resources and bio technology instead of classical chemistry. He further revealed how the company has been successful in introducing multifunctional products for trouble shooting in wet processing and shortening of wash cycles.
Sanjay Sharma, regional manager North, RACL, concluded the session with an informative presentation on the company’s high fast reactive dyes and its uses especially for a cotton driven market like Kolkata.
The seminar provided valuable inputs to the stakeholders, which would help them steer their efforts towards cleaner technologies thereby saving our planet. (KD)
