The new factory will come up on an area of 21,000 sq ft is expected to start operation by the end of next year.

Jiehong Medical had set up its first factory in Bangladesh in the Chattogram Export Processing Zone in September 2019 for production of patient gowns, lab jackets, isolation gowns, coverall, scrub suits etc.

The company will invest $10 million in setting up the new factory, which is expected to employ around 2,000 people when it begins operations.
