The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) has announced its 2026 Coloration Conference, set for February 24–25, 2026, at the StateView Hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina. The two-day event will bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, and innovators to discuss the latest advancements in textile colouration, including sustainable dyeing methods and colour performance optimisation.

A key highlight of the conference is the Call for Student Posters, inviting undergraduate and graduate students to share their research projects—capstone, independent study, thesis, or dissertation—on various aspects of textile colouration.

This initiative aims to encourage young researchers to showcase their work, gain valuable feedback, and build connections with peers, faculty, and industry experts, AATCC said on its website.

The programme committee is seeking poster abstracts focused on innovative technology in colouration and dyeing, chemical and physical modifications of natural and synthetic fibres for enhanced colour application, innovative approaches to improve or optimise preparation for dyeing, and developments in finishing to optimise performance properties.

Students interested in participating must submit their poster abstract forms by November 21, 2025. The conference promises an engaging platform for exchanging ideas, discovering innovations, and strengthening collaborations shaping the future of textile colour science.
