AATCC invites student entries for Concept 2 Consumer contest

AATCC student members have been invited to participate in the 2017 Concept 2 Consumer Student Merchandising Competition, by showing their merchandising and marketing talent.

“Students will display their skills by creating a business concept of a hypothetical new apparel line that redesigns apparel items like leggings, t-shirts, etc. for children aged between 2-10 with special needs or with disabilities,” AATCC said.

The first place winner bags earns $1000 and also $200 from TÜV Rheinland, $200 from Jefferies Socks, $50 gift certificate to Socks in Stock, and a paid summer online marketing Internship at Jefferies Socks.

The second place earns $750 and $100 from TÜV Rheinland, $100 from Jefferies Socks, and a $50 gift certificate to Socks in Stock.

While the third place winner gets $250 and $100 from TÜV Rheinland, and a $50 gift certificate to Socks in Stock.

The last date to send the entries is April 25, 2017, to be sent through a PDF of the poster project to AATCC, while winners will be announced by May 31, 2017.
