An ACN plant, with a capacity to produce 115,000 tons per year, operated by Dia Nitrix in Mizushima, Japan has been taken off-stream for a maintenance turnaround.

Fibre2fashion spoke to an official from the company who confirmed the development and said that it had been taken off-stream on Aug-3 and will return to operations in first week of September.

He also confirmed that off take from the petrochemical sector has been less in the current year, than what has been achieved last year, due to slowdown in the global economies.
