Acrylonitrile (ACN) prices went down in Europe and stayed steady in the US in the current week.

Prices declined in Europe due to poor downstream demand in the region coupled with insipid sentiments in the Asian markets.

Lower feedstock prices and ample regional product availability supported the European ACN price decline.

However in the US, prices remained steady in the current week despite sluggish demand and tight product availability in the region.

European ACN prices were assessed at US$ 1775/ton, lower by US$ 20/ton as compared to the last week.

ACN prices were spotted at US$ 1810/ton in the US, flat from the previous week.
