Advansa's polyester fibres unique in nonwoven wallpapers

Advansa, a leading European polyester fibre producer from Germany, and one of the main suppliers for the nonwoven wallpaper industry, has made its name with its special polyester fibres for the nonwoven wallpaper industry, nowadays an irreplaceable part of the nonwoven wallpaper. The advanced technology of Advansa gives an added value to the final product.

The company focuses on the optimal development and production of innovative as well as technologically advanced fibres. With more than 50 years of experience in the field of polyester, Advansa's R&D engineers have developed specially designed polyester fibres with modified cross-sections and coloured, binder fibres. Since the early 90's, the company has a large portfolio of customised products with more than 35 individual fibre types for nonwoven wallpapers, exceeding the increasing demands of the customers.

Especially for the final product nonwoven wallpaper, the wet and dry strength, tear strength and the dimensional stability (in wet condition) in papers and wet-laid nonwovens have been improved through partial substitution of the pulp; a perfect base for the nonwoven wallpaper, which is moisture-resistant due to the polyester fibre content and which remains durable. Thanks to the easy handling, the end user can decorate quickly and easily his walls. Even the removal of the wallpaper is simple as the fibre ingredient prevents a tearing; ensuring a dry peel off the wallpaper.

Advansa allows a high productivity within the supply chain and functionalising of the final products. Thanks to its responsiveness, Advansa responds to changing customer demands and supports developments in order to offer and implement competitive, customised products, and individual solutions. One of Advansa's key values guiding the development of new products is sustainability while continually improving the safety aspects, health, and environment. Advansa is committed to reducing the environmental impacts and offering environmentally friendly products to the market through environmentally responsible product developments, manufacturing operations to logistics and marketing. Several international environmental labels have rewarded Advansa's efforts, achievements, and fibres. (GK)
