Argentina has closed an antidumping probe on imports of simple or twisted pure acrylic fibre yarn, with 85 percent or more acrylic fibre content from Brazil.

The government has decided to continue the ad valorem antidumping duty, first imposed on September 24, 2009, on imports of these yarns from Brazil.

The anti-dumping duty will be calculated over the FOB export price and will remain in force till September 2011.
