Asian benzene prices climb last week

Benzene prices showed upward trend in Asia in the last week due to sustained strong product demand from the buyers in the region.
In Korea, average prices gained by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 830/ton in the last week, an increment of 0.61 per cent compared to the previous week.
In Japan, average prices surged by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 835/ton in the last week, a lift of 0.60 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In India, average prices increased by US$ 5/ton and recorded at US$ 845/ton in the last week, a rise of 0.60 per cent over the previous week.
