Asian benzene prices show upward momentum

In the Asian region, prices of benzene surged in the last week ending April 1, 2016, due to gain in upstream and downstream product prices in the region.
In Japan, average prices went up by $10/ton and were quoted at $630/ton in the last week, showing an increase of 1.61 per cent compared to the previous week ending March 25, 2016.
In India, average prices went up by $10/ton to $635/ton in the last week, up 1.60 per cent compared to the average price in the previous week.
In Korea, average prices rose by $10/ton to $625/ton in the last week, up 1.63 per cent over price in the previous week.
