Asian benzene prices up from rise in downstream trends

An increase in downstream product prices, led to a hike in Asian benzene prices on Thursday.

In Korea, benzene prices which were assessed at US$ 1320/ton on August 20, went up by US$ 5/ton yesterday and were assessed at US$ 1325/ton on August 21.

In Japan, prices were spotted at US$ 1325/ton on Wednesday, rose to US$ 1330/ton on Thursday.

Indian benzene prices which were quoting at US$ 1330/ton day before yesterday, hiked to US$ 1335/ton on August 21.
