Asian ethylene prices sharply decline last week

Ethylene prices sharply reduced in Asia in the last week owing to lackluster business activity in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices plunged by US$ 95/ton and secured at US$ 1305/ton in the last week, registering a fall of 6.79 per cent over the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices dropped down by US$ 95/ton and recorded at US$ 1300/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week, a decrement of 6.81 per cent.
 
In NE Asia, ethylene prices shrunk by US$ 45/ton and assessed at US$ 1320/ton in the last week, a declination of 3.30 per cent compared to the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, ethylene prices declined by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 1260/ton in the last week, a drop of 1.56 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
