Asian MEG price propels last week from upstream gains

MEG prices propelled in Asia in the last week ending Jan 30 from gain in upstream energy prices in the region.

In SE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 15/ton or 2.04 per cent and were quoted at US$ 750/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.

In India, average prices also rose by US$ 15/ton and were assessed at US$ 750/ton last week, up 2.04 per cent as against its previous week.

In China too, average prices grew up by US$ 15/ton and were spotted at US$ 740/ton last week from its previous week, an increase of 2.07 per cent.
