    Asian MEG trends down last week due to weak downstream

    Weak downstream product prices in the region, pushed down MEG prices in Asia last week ending Oct 10.

    In India, average MEG prices fell by US$ 35/ton or 3.89 percent and were assessed at US$ 865/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.

    In China as well, average prices declined by US$ 20/ton and were quoted at US$ 880/ton, down 2.22 percent from its previous week.
