Asian propylene prices show mix trend last week

Propylene prices displayed mixed undertone in Asia in the last week.
In Korea, average prices inched up by US$ 5/ton and finalized at US$ 1055/ton in the last week over the previous week, an increment of 0.48 per cent due to bullish buying trend in the market.
In Japan, China and SE Asia average prices drifted lower due to sluggish product demand in the region.
In Japan, average prices slipped sharply by US$ 30/ton and settled at US$ 1025/ton in the last week, a reduction of 2.84 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In China, average prices shrunk by US$ 15/ton and secured at US$ 1065/ton in the last week, registering a fall of 1.39 per cent over the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices inched down by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 990/ton in the last week, after a drop of 1.49 per cent as compared to the previous week.
