Asian propylene prices show mixed trend last week

Propylene prices went down in Japan and China in the last week due to unfavorable market conditions in the region.
In Japan, average prices decreased by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 820/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a drop of 0.61 per cent.
In China, average prices stepped down by US$ 5/ton to US$ 870/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a fall of 0.57 per cent.
In Korea, average prices improved by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 830/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after an increment of 0.61 per cent due to constrained product availability in the region.
In SE Asia, average prices remained stable and assessed at US$ 775/ton in the last week due to listless business activity in the region.
