Asian propylene prices surge past week

Propylene prices improved in Asia in the last week due to good trading activity in the region.
In Korea, average prices picked up by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 1040/ton in the last week, after an improvement of 1.96 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In Japan, average prices surged sharply by US$ 30/ton and quoted at US$ 1025/ton in the last week, a hike of 3.02 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices marched higher by US$ 20/ton and settled at US$ 950/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week, a growth of 2.15 per cent.
In China, average prices enhanced by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 1080/ton in the last week, a jump of 2.37 per cent from the previous week.
