    Asian PTA hikes on Jan 15 due to gain in upstream prices

    PTA prices hiked in Asia on Thursday, 15th Jan due to gain in upstream energy prices in the region.

    In FE Asia, prices rose by US$ 10/ton or 1.80 per cent and were quoted at US$ 565/ton on Thursday, as compared to Wednesday.

    In SE Asia, prices also went up by US$ 10/ton and were assessed at US$ 590/ton on 15th Jan, up 1.72 per cent from 14th Jan.
