Asian PTA prices display mix trend last week

PTA prices showed mixed movement in Asia in the last week.
In FE Asia and SE Asia average prices maintained upward trend due to optimistic market conditions in the region.
In FE Asia, average prices increased by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 855/ton in the last week, showing a rise of 0.59 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices raced higher by US$ 5/ton and secured at US$ 870/ton in the last week, an enhancement of 0.58 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In China, average prices remained unmoved and recorded at US$ 850/ton in the last week over the previous week due to mute buying interest in the market.
