Asian PX prices decline on Feb 25 from poor demand

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asia on Wednesday (Feb 25) mainly from lower upstream energy prices coupled with poor downstream demand in the region.

In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 850/ton on Feb 25, lower by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices on Tuesday (Feb 24).

In SE Asia, prices were spotted at US$ 875/ton on Wednesday, also down by US$ 5/ton as against prices on Feb 24.
