PX prices dropped down in Asia on Wednesday (Dec 17) from fall in upstream energy prices in the region coupled with sluggish downstream demand.

Lower feedstock prices and downstream product prices also supported the price decline.

Prices in Korea were assessed at US$ 790/ton on Wednesday, lower by US$ 25/ton or 3.07 per cent as compared to prices on Tuesday (Dec 16).

Prices in SE Asia were spotted at US$ 810/ton on Dec 18, down US$ 30/ton or 3.57 per cent as against prices on Tuesday.
