Benzene prices down in Europe but stable in US last week

Benzene prices went down in Europe in the last week ended Oct 2 due to sluggish buying trend in the region.
However, due to firm energy prices in the market, average prices remained stable.
In Europe, average prices fell by US$ 15/ton or 2.59 per cent and were quoted at US$ 565/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices stayed steady and were assessed at 205 cents/gallon in the last week as against its prior week.
